Update as of May 23, 2013. In mid-April, Starved Rock State Park experienced a damaging flood. As a result, ALL AREAS AT STARVED ROCK ARE NOW OPEN WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS: OTTAWA-KASKASKIA CANYON –CLOSED and TONTI CANYON BRIDGE ———- CLOSED.

LOWER DELLS TRAILS REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL REPAIRS CAN BE MADE.
HORSEBACK TRAILS ARE OPEN FROM THE DELLS NORTH TO THE CAMPGROUND.
VERMILLION RIVER AREA SOUTH IS OPEN.
THE RAVINE CONNECTING THE TRAIL NORTH AND SOUTH IS CLOSED UNTIL REPAIRS CAN BE MADE.

Starved Rock Lodge features 69 comfortable hotel rooms, 21 cabins in the woods, a 2-sided fireplace in the Great Hall, an indoor pool and more. Relax and enjoy the Back Door Lounge, Trailheads Concessions and the Starved Rock Cafe. The Main Dining Room is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner (with a fantastic Sunday Brunch).
