Canoe Getaway – $175.00 For Two (Plus Tax)
Discover the pleasure of the Fox River canoeing during your stay at Starved Rock Lodge. Package is available Monday through Thursday nights from now until September 30, 2013 (weather and water levels permitting). Take a drive to the canoe launch located a few miles from the Lodge. Once you nose your canoe into the river, the awesome view of the trees and flowers and sandstone cliffs rising from the riverbanks while you are paddling along will take your breath away. Jump in for a swim or just float and enjoy the scenery, then head back to the Lodge for a restful sleep. This package includes an overnight stay for two people at the Lodge and fees for two people for canoe rental of one canoe, safety equipment, paddles and transport from C & M Canoe Rental to the launch site. Additional canoe seats may be purchased for $50.00 each. You must call C & M Canoe Rental to reserve your canoes by calling 815-434-6690 in advance.
