Take a one-hour horseback ride at Cedar Creek. Step back in time, through Illinois Valley hills, fields and creeks while listening to fascinating tales of local history and nature. Dismount your horse to visit a Civil War cemetery on-site and enjoy a delicious Starved Rock boxed lunch on the deck overlooking Cedar Creek Ranch Lake.  When your ride is over, come back to the Lodge and relax in the pool then grab a bite to eat in the Main Dining Room or at the Back Door Lounge.This package is available Sunday through Thursday nights May, June, August and September of 2013.  Package includes your overnight stay for two, a boxed lunch for two and horseback riding for two.Single Package rate is $160.00 (Plus Taxes), two people is $200.00 (Plus Taxes).
