We’re listed on the National Register of Historic Places! Starved Rock Lodge is truly a unique destination with an ambiance that reminds you of something you’d find in a National Park, but it’s conveniently located in Illinois. The Lodge features 28 cozy rooms in the historic wing(with original knotty pine paneling) and 41 rooms in the Lodge wing. There are 21 cabin rooms located on the property, some with wood-burning or gas fireplaces. The Lodge and cabins are open year ’round and have heat and air conditioning, plus all the amenities of a modern hotel. The indoor pool complex offers a 26′x 54′ pool, a soothing hot tub, a shallow children’s pool and two saunas. The pool complex is ideal for guests of all ages because older children love to swim in the big pool while the adults relax in the hot tub or sauna. Grandparents can watch the little ones in the gated, children’s pool or just spend some time reading a good book.
