Storytelling at Fox Ridge

Autumn at Starved Rock Lodge means a crackling campfire and storytelling on Saturday nights at Fox Ridge (located directly across from the main steps of Starved Rock Lodge).  Storytelling continues every Saturday night through October 25. Start time 7:00 p.m. 

STORYTELLING  SCHEDULE

September 27     Bill Myers

A lifelong storyteller, educator and favorite at Starved Rock, Bill’s stories bring listeners in to enjoy history, legends and tall tales for all ages. Bill will engage his audience with animal tales, and stories filled with fact, fiction and fantasy!

October 4            Tricia Kelly
The Lodge’s resident storyteller, Tricia spins a yarn and tells a tale that will engage all ages. Her stories range from interactive family fare to historic stories to terrifying tales to chill your soul!

October 11          Mick Henneberry
A perennial favorite on Saturday nights ‘round the campfire, Mick brings his lifelong experience in an entertainment family into his wide variety of stories and poems.

October 18          Steve Seaborn
Local teller, Steve Seaborn will engage audience members with the wonderful characters he uses to tell the stories of the Illinois Valley.

October 25          Triple the Tellers*
7 pm: Spooky Stories - To be determined
8 pm: Scary Stories with Andy Abramat
9 pm: Terrifying Tales with Tricia Kelly (*Adults Only)
