Wilderness Wednesdays, Storytelling & More!

Summertime at Starved Rock Lodge means great, but fun educational programming and storytelling on Saturday nights. Both activities are family-friendly. The meeting place is FOX RIDGE (located directly across from the main steps of Starved Rock Lodge). Join us every Wednesday (thru Aug. 27) at 3 :00 pm for FREE nature education programs called “Wilderness Wednesday”.  Each week, a guest presenter will introduce participants to a new nature topic. Topics include: bees, geology, insects, snakes, butterflies and more! This is a great opportunity to learn something new about the world around us. In the event of inclement weather, Wilderness Wednesday activities might be relocated to a different location or cancelled. Please check THIS PAGE for updates or  call 815-220-7386.

Saturday Night Campfire Storytelling begins on July 5, 2014 and runs thru October 25 and begin at 7:00 pm. Scroll down to see this season’s schedule.
