Chief Walks with the Wind – A Tribute

March 19 at 4pm Great Hall Join us as we honor Chief Walks with the Wind and the Native American history from Starved Rock Lodge’s days gone by. Enjoy stories, songs and ceremonies shared by Jerry Savage (the grandson of Sam Sine, who was known by many as ” Chief Walks with the Wind “). This is a free event, open to the public.

Valley Woodcarvers’ Expo

See over 100 exhibits of woodcarving artists. Outside the Lodge, see chainsaw woodcarving in action. Raffles of woodcarvings and other items, too. Open to the public. Free admission.
