If relaxation is your priority, then consider a tranquil massage or a few minutes in our hot tub followed by the warmth of our sauna. We have an indoor pool and a gated, children’s pool so guests of all ages may enjoy their stay.

Our legendary Great Hall weddings are designed to accommodate up to 200 of your closest family and friends. The Great Hall is located in Starved Rock Lodge, which is situated in one of the “7 Wonders of Illinois,” Starved Rock State Park, in Utica, IL. After the vows, enjoy the beginning of a music-filled celebration with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the Starved Rock Room, adjacent to the Great Hall. Then it’s time for a world-class dining experience in the rustic elegance of the Great Hall. As dinner winds down, it’s time for music and dancing in the Starved Rock Room.

If you’d prefer an outdoor wedding ceremony, Starved Rock Lodge offers the awe-inspiring Sunrise Shelter. The Sunrise Shelter is located just to the east of the Lodge. To reach the Sunrise Shelter, your guests will cross the footbridge over Fox Canyon and stroll along a winding path through the woods. When they reach the shelter, an outstanding view of the top of Starved Rock will unfold before them.
After the vows, enjoy the beginning of a music-filled celebration with cocktairs d’oeuvres in the Starved Rock Room, adjacent to the Great Hall. Then it’s time for a world-class dining experience in the rustic elegance of the Great Hall. As dinner winds down, it’s time for music and dancing in the Starved Rock Room.

The Courtyard was created for our wedding couples who want to be surrounded by the beauty of nature on their special day. Nestled along the Fox Canyon, this intimate outdoor site can accommodate up to 30 of your closest family and friends. A winding, paved walkway, bordered by several natural stone benches leads you and your guests to the ceremony site. Once you enter the Courtyard, flagstone steps lead to an elevated stone terrace featuring antique lighting, where your guests will be seated among nature’s beauty as they share in your special moment.
In the event of inclement weather, your ceremony will take place in the charming and rustic Canyonside Cabin before a cozy log-and-stone fireplace.

Both the LaSalle Room and Utica Room can accommodate up to 40 of your closest family and friends, and is designed with comfort in mind. The cozy ambiance fosters a sense of togetherness as your guests share in your special day.
Hot Dates
Book your Wedding for the Great Hall West & Starved Rock Room on one of our listed “Hot Dates” to received 1/2 off the banquet room rental fee. Our larger wedding site can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests. Included in the rental fee are the tables, indoor banquet chairs, linens, stemware, silverware, china, skirting for head table, cake table, place card table and gift table.
