Starved Rock State Park is one of the best destinations for hiking in the Midwest. We know that our guests love to come here to see the natural beauty of the park, but there’s so much more to see and do. If you’ve never been here before, we suggest a guided hike and a Historic Trolley Tour. We other seasonal Trolley Tours, musical tribute shows and many fun activities and events, many of which are free of charge. Starved Rock Lodge and State Park attracts over two million visitors each year. Come and explore this jewel in the crown of LaSalle County!

Offered: in April & May (Monday & Saturday) Ticket Price: $32 for adults, $27 children (10 and under). Mondays:  11am-3pm. Saturdays:  9am-1pm & 11am-3pm Experience the fun of outdoors adventure at Starved Rock State Park with a guided walk to 3 spectacular waterfalls and canyons. We will plan to visit French, St. Louis and Ottawa Canyons. The tour will also include hot lunch in The Main Dining Room and a relaxing trolley ride. The 11:00 tour begins with lunch in our dining room followed by the tour and the 9:00 tour will begin with the tour and conclude with lunch. Every Thursday (year round) Join the fun on our weekly, guided hikes! Explore Starved Rock State Park, Matthiessen State Park, the I & M Canal and a nearby Nature Preserve. Every Thursday morning, year round, the Starved Rock Walkers Club  meets in the lobby of the Lodge and departs at 9:00 am. Hikes last between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the destination. The hikes vary each week and over a 4-month period, the group will see the entire park.  Make some new friends and learn about wildlife, wildflowers and more. Next, board one of our trolleys for a ride through historic downtown Utica and stop at Cattails where you can shop.
