Bald Eagle Watch Weekend (January 25 & 26, 2014) is an outdoor awareness weekend hosted by the Illinois Audubon Society. Events will take place at: Starved Rock Lodge, the Illinois Waterway Visitor Center and at the Starved Rock State Park Visitor Center. Starved Rock Trolleys will run both days with continuous stops at all three venues. Wristbands are $1 per person for unlimited rides.
New this year, in response to popular request, a limited number of admissions to the “Raptor Awareness” programs presented in the Lodge will be available for purchase online in advance. The non-refundable cost for each ticket is $3. Online ticket sales begin January 1 and continue until January 18 at the Illinois Audubon website (www.illinoisaudubon.org) or until allocation of online-sale tickets is depleted. Free tickets for each presentation will still be available each day starting at 8 am in the Lodge on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating remains unreserved. Presentations are at 10 am, Noon, 2 pm and 4 pm each day.

Where to eat! The Lodge Main Dining Room is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Sunday Brunch is offered from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ($15.95 per person / Half price for children 10 and under / Free for children under 3). The Starved Rock Cafeis open daily at 6:30 a.m. Trailheads Concessions is located in the Starved Rock State Park Visitor Center and open Saturday & Sunday (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) serving sandwiches, snacks, ice cream, drinks and more!

Starved Rock Trolley Shuttle The Starved Rock Trolley runs both days. Wristbands for unlimited rides are just $1.00 per person. The trolley loop route begins at the Lodge, travels to the Starved Rock Visitor Center and then stops at the IL Waterway Visitor Center before returning to the Lodge.
