Join us Saturday at 11:00 am as the Starved Rock Foundation presents a Saturday Program Series at the Starved Rock Visitor Center (Kaskaskia Room). The programs are for kids, families and anyone who is a kid at heart! All programs are free to the public although donations are always accepted. Please shop in our 100% volunteer run LeRocher Gift Shop…all profits go to providing programs and equipment for the Park! Watch the award-winning wildlife DVD series based on the books by Carl R. Sams II and Jean Stoick. Program dates: February 2, 9, 16, 23.
Program Overview: “Stranger in the Woods”…Just who is this stranger? Journey into the deep winter woods and meet 2 snowdrifts; Pierre and Janine. Watch as live video blends with award-winning photography. This story is a magical tale of real animals reacting to a snowman that appears after a winter storm (25 minutes). DVDs are available for sale in LeRocher Gift Shop in the Visitor Center.
