After 5 weeks of competition, Kayla Magnifici, of Peru, won Rock Star 2013 on March 6, 2013 and took home a $1,000 prize. The contest concluded in the Main Dining Room of Starved Rock Lodge. Second place went to Harmony Donaldson (Lostant). Third place went to Sarah Breyne (Wenona) and in fourth place was Leslie Crum (Ottawa). Greg Valos of Chicago was awarded the Fan Favorite trophy. The vocal competition was sponsored by Starved Rock Lodge, WAJK, WOLF, Euclid Beverage and MillerCoors.
