Whether you are just beginning in photography, are an advanced amateur or a professional, you are welcome to join the Starved Rock Photography Club. Monthly photography walks at Starved Rock State Park’s Lodge with club leader, Jacki Pienta. The Photo Club will meet each month throughout the year for guided walks to planned sites for photography opportunities. Members will informally exchange ideas and tips for quality nature & wildlife photos.We will meet the 4th Saturday of every month at 10:00 am (November through March) and 9:00 am (April through October)  in the Lobby of Starved Rock Lodge (By the Front Desk Check in area). Special Take a Hike Dates Added for May 27 (Memorial Day), July 4 & 5!   Guided hikes with lunch are offered by Starved Rock Lodge on Saturdays and Sundays from April through November. Join us for a guided hike from the Lodge to LaSalle and Tonti Canyons. Price: $12.00 per adult/$10.00 senior/$8.00 children under 10 There are two tours: 12:00 pm-1:30 pm & 1:30 pm-3:00 pm. (Due to the Burgoo Festival in Utica, there will be NO Historic Trolley Tours on Sunday, October 13, 2013). Board a trolley outside of the Great Hall area of the Lodge.
