Visitor Center Event Join the Starved Rock guides as we hike to see the spectacular icefalls of Starved Rock! Don’t forget your binoculars. We will have a chance to do some eagle viewing from the top of Starved Rock. Learn about the history and geology of the park. Meet at the Starved Rock Visitor Center at 9am and 1pm.

December-March Saturday & Sunday $12/person Join us for a guided hike with the possibility of frozen waterfalls & Eagles. Participants meet in the hotel lobby of the Lodge to pick up a snack and a “Starved Rock” backpack. The tour concludes at the Lodge about 2:00 pm. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear proper footwear. In the event of ice and snow, we advise Yaktrax for extra traction. Hike will be about 4.5 miles round trip. Remember to bring your binoculars and cameras. Included is: homemade granola bar, bottled water, “Starved Rock” backpack and voucher for small hot chocolate or coffee in our café upon your return. Our delicious Sunday Brunch Buffet is served every Sunday* from 10:30am to 3pm (summer hours) in The Main Dining Room of Starved Rock Lodge (2pm in the winter).
