Update on April 1st:
Due to the Stay at Home order extension, Starved Rock Lodge will now be closed through April 30th. Cancellations will be made through the 30th only.
Update as of 6pm:
Governor Pritzker announced a Stay at Home order in effect as of Saturday, March 21 at 5pm. We will now be closing at that time. Our hope is to reopen on April 7, 2020. We ask that you delay calling in for accommodations and activities after April 7th so we can better support patrons with more imminent needs.
9am:
All of us at Starved Rock Lodge are committed to providing a safe environment for our staff and guests. For this reason, we have decided to close effective Sunday, March 22 at 2:00 p.m. While it is with great sadness that we make this decision, we feel that we must consider our staff and their families during this time period. Their health and safety as well as that of our guests is our primary concern.
At this time we will not be accepting new reservations through the end of March. In alignment with the States’ mandate we hope to be back up and operational by April 1, 2020.
If you have a room reservation, activity, meeting or wedding planned with us during this time period, a member of our staff will reach out to see if you would like to re-schedule your visit. If you desire to cancel, we will refund your deposit. Typically a refund takes up to 7 business days to process by credit card but with so many businesses facing this difficult situation, we please ask you to wait up to 14 days before calling the Lodge.
We thank you for your patience during this difficult situation and we look forward to serving you in the very near future and wish good health to you and your loved ones.
Yours in travel,
Amy and Karl Trimble
