An Honorable Mention for the Runner-up Slogan was awarded to Elizabeth Radtke for her slogan Love at The Lodge—Wedding “Wows” in Wintertime. My husband and I were married at the Ottawa Courthouse on January 7, 2005,” said Ratdke, “To celebrate this event, we spent the afternoon at Starved Rock Lodge for food and drinks. It was a quiet afternoon at the Lodge with just us, our two attendants and another couple we did not know but were included in our wedding photos. We had so much fun and wouldn’t trade that day for anything in this world. We celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary this year.”

Thanks to everyone who entered. We’ll be using many of your entries for upcoming social media posts once the snow begins to fly. Let’s hope that is a long way off.
