February is the perfect time of year for a “Galentine’s Day” getaway. It’s usually celebrated on Feb. 13, but this year, the rules are different. You are invited to bring your girlfriends to the Lodge any time for a getaway and enjoy the indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Then, head to the Back Door Lounge for some comfort food and spend some quality time together with your favorite cocktail.
This winter, the Lodge has three special ways to enjoy lunch or dinner. Midwest Monday celebrates a different state each week with an ala carte option for the soup, sandwich, dessert and cocktail of the day. Taco Tuesday features a different type of taco each week and you can add on a specialty cocktail and dessert taco. Burger & Beer Friday is the perfect pairing to kick off the weekend. Our Chefs have prepared a special menu for sweethearts to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Reservations are highly recommended?? This 4-course menu will be offered on Feb. 11-14, 2022 in the Main Dining Room. See the gourmet options on the Lodge website.
Liven up your life when you attend the high energy “Dueling Pianos” performance in the Great Hall. This interactive show is a great way to spend a winter afternoon. Choose from show dates on Feb. 21 or 22. Lunch buffet is included with ticket price. Reservations are required.
Another fun-filled evening is on the calendar for Feb. 23 with Trolley Trio Progressive Dinner. Board the trolley and let us do the driving for a wine flight and appetizers at August Hill followed by dinner (tasting trio) at Camp Aramoni. Return to the Lodge and top off the evening with a delicious trio of mini-after-dinner cocktails and desserts. Reservations are required..
Princesses and Super Heroes of all ages are invited to attend the newest event at Starved Rock Lodge. On Sunday, March 27, 2022, the first-ever “Princess & Super Hero Breakfast” will take place in the Great Hall. Children are invited and encouraged to come in their favorite costume to meet “Beauty”, “The Ice Princess,” “The Ice Queen,” “Bat Hero” and “Spider Guy”. The event begins and 9:30 a.m. with an enchanting breakfast buffet. There will also be face painting as well as photo ops with each of the characters. Tickets are $30 for adults and $25 for children 10 and under, Children 3 and under are free.
Come get in the Easter Spirit at Breakfast with the Bunny! After breakfast, the Bunny himself with join us and we will have an egg hunt! Advanced reservations are required as space is limited. This event begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Great Hall. Tickets are: $20 Adults, $15 Children 10 and under, children 3 and under are free.
