August 26th Face Mask Policy

Effective today (Wednesday, August 26), all dining patrons are now required to wear masks when interacting with bar and restaurant staff. This includes both indoors and outdoors. At Starved Rock Lodge, we ask that you please put your mask on when a staff member approaches you whether in the Main Dining Room, Back Door Lounge, Veranda or in the Cafe. August 26th Trail Update: Some trails at Starved Rock are now open! Matthiessen State Park remains closed for further storm cleanup. The following places are now open: Starved Rock, Overlooks: Lover’s Leap, Eagle Cliff, Beehive, Sandstone Point, Canyons: French, Pontiac, Wildcat, Basswood, Lonetree, Aurora, Sac, Kickapoo, St. Louis, Illinois, Ottawa, Kaskaskia & Council Overhang. This tour is currently unavailable due to COVID-19. When this tour returns, you’ll board a trolley outside of the Great Hall of the Lodge. Learn about the rich history and legends of Starved Rock State Park and Lodge. Travel to the Lock and Dam, through historic downtown Utica and the Starved Rock Visitor Center.
