Take a Hike & Lunch

Hotel Lobby One Lodge Lane, Oglesby

Discover Starved Rock’s canyons, bluffs and seasonal waterfalls on this guided hike. Listen as the guide tells stories of how Starved Rock got its name along with other legends of the area. Meet your guide in the hotel lobby at 9:45am to where you'll also pick up your lunch. Hike to see scenic Wildcat Canyon, Lover's Leap and Eagle Cliff. Lunch is included with your choice of turkey, ham or veggie wrap, bag of chips, granola bar, piece of fruit...


Land and Water Cruise

Great Hall - Starved Rock Lodge 2668 E 875th Rd, Oglesby

Tour begins with lunch in our restaurant followed by a narrated trolley tour. Learn about Starved Rock’s history and legends of the area. The trolley takes passengers to the Eagle 1 to see the east end of Starved Rock State Park by water. Restrooms are available throughout the tour and minimal walking is involved. Both the trolley and boat are wheelchair accessible. Please inform us when booking if special accommodations are needed.

Historic Trolley Tours

Outside the Great Hall of Starved Rock Lodge One Lodge Lane, Oglesby

This tour includes a 90 minute trolley tour with stops at the Starved Rock State Park Visitors Center, the IL Waterway Visitor Center and through downtown Utica. It’s the perfect way to learn about the rich history of the Starved Rock area.
