IMPORTANT UPDATE: Per State Mandate, Masks are now REQUIRED regardless of immunization status as we are a State facility. This includes all areas of the Lodge, Cafe, Main Dining Doom, Back Door Lounge, Visitor’s Center and Trailheads Concessions.

Starved Rock Lodge hosts special events throughout the year. Check back for updates once COVID-19 mitigations are lifted. We can't wait to schedule  seasonal events such as our annual Oktoberfest Dinners, Breakfast with Santa, our annual Teddy Bear Tea and more. Come on out and witness an exciting seminar about dog sledding and the Siberian Husky while enjoying awesome dog sled demos. There will be huskies for you to meet and greet as well as info about the rescue and how to help, volunteer, and adopt. Admission is free and event is open to the public.Event is rain or shine. Sled demo times are 9:30am, 12pm, and 3pm and are located far corner of the Visitor Center Parking Lot by the river....

Native American Celebration of Spring

The Great Hall of Starved Rock Lodge will be the setting for an afternoon of Native American ceremonies led by Gerald “Chief White Winnebago” Savage. The three-part ceremony will take place on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. This event is free and the public is invited. Donations will be gratefully accepted.
