Guided Winter Hikes
Discover the winter beauty at Starved Rock State Park on a guided hike. There’s a chance of spotting bald eagles soaring high in the sky or experiencing majestic, frozen waterfalls. Dress appropriately for the weather, including proper footwear such as Yaktrax. Sled Dog Demos
Free Spirit Siberian Rescue will return for two sled dog demos on January 17 and February 28, 2021. This year, a brief seminar will Seminar, led by head musher Jason Hussong, will take place 30 minutes before each of the outdoor demos. Outdoor sled dog demos will take place in the northwest corner of the Visitor Center Parking Lot at 9:30am, 12pm and 3pm. Please be advised that face masks and mittens or gloves are required to pet the sled dogs.…
