Saturday at 9am, tour is first followed by lunch in the Main Dining Room at noon. Experience the fun outdoor adventure at Starved Rock State Park with a guided walk to three spectacular waterfalls and canyons. See spring come to life in French, St. Louis and Ottawa Canyons. This tour includes a hot lunch (special menu) in our restaurant and a relaxing trolley ride. Waterfalls cannot be guaranteed on this tour. Route may change due to trail conditions.

Adults: $42.95 Children: $21.95 Family Pricing: from 3:00PM-6:00PM (2 Adults & 2 Children) for $109.99 - with purchase of the family package, you can then add additional adults for $35 each and add additional children for $15 each to the package.

Peace in the Valley – A Tribute to the Gospel recordings of Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley

Jonathan Lyons captures the true sound, feel, and embodiment of Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley in concert. Gospel music played an integral role in the lives and music of both artists. Jonathan takes you back to the spiritual side of these two icons with various hymns and classics including “How Great Thou Art” (Elvis), “Swing Down Sweet Chariot” (Elvis), “It Was Jesus” (Cash) and “I’ll Fly Away” (Cash).

Take a Hike & a Lunch

Event Series Take a Hike & a Lunch

Discover Starved Rock’s canyons, bluffs and seasonal waterfalls on this 3-mile (round trip) guided hike. Listen as the guide tells stories of how Starved Rock got its name along with other legends of the area. Break for lunch at the halfway point. Lunch includes your choice of turkey, ham or veggie wrap, snacks and bottled water. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Hike will vary upon group skill and trail conditions. *Boxed lunch and souvenir drawstring backpack included.

Have you ever wanted to hike all the canyons in the park? Well now you can do it in one day. Hikes leave the Lodge at either 8:30am and expected time for lunch is 1pm. Return to the Lodge at 4pm. Board a trolley with a pair of guides and be taken to the east end of the park where you will begin your trek.
