Starved Rock Lodge will host a “Flood of Love” benefit concert on Monday, September 25th at 6:30pm, featuring country singer Eric Chesser. Tickets are $30 per person and proceeds will be donated to hurricane relief efforts.
Eric Chesser grew up in Plainfield, IL. As a teen, he began writing music. His love for country music grew on him as a young boy being on the farm with his grandpa in Big Rock, Illinois. During high school and college, Eric played sports, guitar, and began to write songs in his free time. Eric’s style of contemporary and traditional country music reflects his approach to always embracing life to the fullest, living in the moment, and staying true to what matters most in his life, his faith, family and friends.
The $30 per person ticket includes an intimate concert by Eric Chesser and ten tickets for the charity raffle. Grill food and drinks will be available for purchase in the Great Hall. Dinner reservations in the Main Dining Room are recommended before the concert.
“In addition to the donations from ticket sales, Starved Rock Lodge will also donate $10 to hurricane relief from every room booked at Starved Rock Lodge during the month of September,” said Lodge CEO Amy Trimble, “We hope the community will join us as we try to contribute to all the victims of the recent hurricanes.” Rooms are available the night of the 25th and a special overnight package has been created. This includes your room for two, the concert and breakfast the next morning for $185.
Tickets are available online, at the door or by calling (815) 220-7386. Sponsors of this benefit include Starved Rock Lodge, Euclid Beverage, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Dr. Gergovich at Judge Chiropractic Center and LaSalle County Broadcasting (103.9 WLPO, 99.3 WAJK and The Wolf 96.5).
