Guided Winter Hike

Event Series Guided Winter Hike

Join us for a guided hike with the possibility of frozen waterfalls & Eagles. Participants meet in the hotel lobby of the Lodge to pick up a snack and a “Starved Rock” backpack. The tour concludes at the Lodge about 1:00 pm. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear proper footwear. In the event of ice and snow, we advise Yaktrax for extra traction. Hike will be about 3 miles round trip. Remember to bring your binoculars and cameras....

Tour begins with lunch at 11am, Tour ends at 2:30 pm. Be mesmerized by the beautiful bald eagles at Starved Rock. Ride our trolley to the Illinois Waterway Visitor Center for eagle viewing and an educational program. Ticket price includes your selection from our trolley lunch menu and the tour.
