Fall Color Trolley Tour

Tour includes a trolley ride with lunch in our restaurant (special menu) followed by a guided hike (about 45 minutes) to scenic Council Overhang and Ottawa Canyon.

Take a Hike & a Lunch

Discover Starved Rock’s canyons, bluffs and seasonal waterfalls on this 3-mile (round trip) guided hike. Listen as the guide tells stories of how Starved Rock got its name along with other legends of the area. Break for lunch at the halfway point. Lunch includes your choice of turkey, ham or veggie wrap, snacks and bottled water. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Hike will vary upon group skill and trail conditions. *Boxed lunch and souvenir drawstring backpack included.

Lock and Lunch- Starved Rock to Ottawa

Sold out. Experience something new and fun when you’re a passenger aboard the Sainte Genevieve Riverboat as it passes through the Starved Rock Lock on the Illinois Waterway. Lunch in the Main Dining Room of historic Starved Rock Lodge and transportation are included.  From Starved Rock to Ottawa:11:00am – Lunch in the Main Dining Room12:00pm – Trolley down to boat ramp12:30pm – Boat departs Starved Rock3:30pm – Boat arrives back in Ottawa3:30pm – Trolley travels back to Starved Rock4:00 pm...

Sunset Cruise and Dinner

Enjoy a cruise down the beautiful Illinois River aboard the Sainte Genevieve Riverboat. You will board the trolley at the Lodge and head over to beautiful Ottawa, IL for your cruise. After the cruise, the trolley will bring you back to the Lodge. Check in at 3:30 pm, trolley departs at 3:45 pm, Cruise from 4:30-6:30 pm, Return to the Lodge at 7:00 pm for dinner. Reservations required.
